Pheasant Run Townhomes is one of the most well-known housing communities in Blacksburg.  It has provided quality housing for Virginia Tech students and others since 1988.  Even though it is located only 2 miles from the Virginia Tech Campus, the community has its own Blacksburg Transit bus stop making it convenient and efficient for VT students. It has a rich tradition of providing quality affordable housing for nearly 30 years.  Equally important is that it is a place where residents can enjoy the college experience.

Onsite basketball, tennis and volleyball courts, swimming pools and walking trails provide residents with a variety of outdoor recreational opportunities.  Additionally, the Board of Directors have always recognized that student gatherings are an important part of the VT experience. As long as the gatherings are reasonable, remain under control, don't interfere with other residents right to enjoy their home and the property respected, the Board of Directors respects its residents right to gather socially. The homeowners association provides part-time security patrols to insure the safety of the residents of Pheasant Run.
